Report:
Bann Wheelers rider Nigel Quigley came out on top in the Clubs latest 10 mile
event on the Bushmills/Dervock course last Tuesday evening. This event was
race No.17 in the season long calender and with only seven races left the
Clubs B.A.R. competition is still all to race for. Quigleys ride of 25mins
04secs gave him a 31sec winning margin over Colin Brennan, club mate Russell
Callaghan finished a further 3 secs behind. Fourth place and a man to watch
out for in the future is ex Strongman Sean Kealey who's ride of 25mins 41secs
is pushing him to the top in club events.
In the 5 mile event the Clubs youngest rider Blane Watton produced an
excellent ride of 17mins 52 secs.
